A Train-the-Trainer Model for Instructional Leaders and Administrators.

Successful systemic change takes planning, strategy, and support.

We provide a train-the-trainer model for instructional leaders and administrators who want to engage in strategic planning to change their site or district's grading practices. By focusing on stakeholder management and facilitation timelines, our participants leave with an actionable plan for success.

About the Program

The first step in preparing your teachers for a change to their grading policies is strategic planning. Prior to teachers embarking in our full Learning-Based Grading course, start with a condensed “Train-the-Trainer” model for teacher-leaders (coaches, district content specialists, content consultants, TOSA’s etc.) and administrators to learn the program and plan implementation for your site.

The Trainer’s Course consists of 3 modules asynchronously facilitated over 6 weeks. Trainers have access to a “showroom” style, example course to quickly familiarize themselves with the Learning-Based Grading content and customize for their teachers. There are only 3 synchronous hours required for the Train-the-Trainer program and they are established by each cohort.
